Privacy Policy

Conose is a hyperlocal discovery service for Zamboanga City, Philippines, operated by Aliteo. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Conose has not launched yet. Today this website does one thing with personal data: it takes an email address for the launch waitlist. This policy describes that, and it describes the mobile app so you know what is coming before you install it.
What we collect on this website
Only what you type into the waitlist form, plus the ordinary server records any website keeps.

What this website does not do
- No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics. We checked the shipped code to be able to say this plainly.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. There is no arrangement under which anyone pays us for it.
- We do not build a profile of you, and we do not track you across other websites.
- We do not ask for your location on this website. The map you see is a stylised picture of Zamboanga, the same for every visitor.
What the app will collect
When the Conose mobile app is released, it will collect more than this website does, because it has to in order to work. We are telling you now rather than at install time:
- Location, only while you are using the app and only if you allow it, so we can show what is near you. You can decline and still browse by neighbourhood.
- Your account details, if you make one, and the places you save, review, or check in to.
- Photos and review text you choose to submit, which are public by design.
- Basic diagnostics about crashes and errors.
The AI assistant
We are building an AI assistant so you can ask Conose things in your own words, in Chavacano, Filipino, or English, and get recommendations back. It is not live yet.
When it ships, this is the deal, and we will update this policy with the specifics before it does: what you type into the assistant is sent to a language model in order to answer you. Do not type anything into it you would not want processed by a third-party provider. We will name the provider here before launch, we will not use your conversations to train anyone's model without asking you separately and clearly, and you will be able to use Conose without using the assistant.
Who else sees your data
We use a small number of service providers. Some of them are contacted directly by your browser when this page loads, which means they necessarily see your IP address:

Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 you have the right to be informed, to object, to access what we hold, to correct it, to have it erased or blocked, to move it elsewhere, to be told if it is breached, and to be compensated for damage caused by misuse.
To use any of these, email privacy@conose.ph. We will respond within 30 days. Getting off the waitlist is the common one and it costs you one line: ask, and the record is deleted, not just flagged.
Children
Conose is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, email privacy@conose.ph and we will delete it.
Security, honestly stated
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Waitlist records are held in a managed database that is not publicly reachable, and access is limited to the people who need it.
No service can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If we ever have a breach that puts you at real risk, we will tell you and the National Privacy Commission, as the law requires.
Changes
We will update this page when what we do changes, and the date at the top will move. If a change materially affects you - the AI assistant launching is the obvious one - we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing.

If you are in the Philippines and you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you may complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
